"Why is my printer not working after I have replaced the motherboard?"

In most cases when there is a requirement to replace the motherboard there is one important step that has to be made once the board is installed and connected.

That important step is installing the firmware on the electronic board. If you do not install the firmware, when you start the printer your print head will start to move from left to right and you will not be able to control the printer through the Simplify3D software user interface.

Step 1: download the correct firmware

Which firmware version do I need for my printer?

Step 2: install the firmware

Uploading the Creatr firmware

Step 2.2: if the offset sticker on the bottom of the printer is missing please follow the steps in the link below

Please remember to use the Arduino 1.0.6 version for a successful installation of the firmware.
