| This solution instructs you how to replace the Y-axis stepper motor.

You will need the flowing tools and supply's to do this:
- One Y-axis stepper motor.
- Philips screwdriver
- Allan wrenches
1. The first step is to unplug the USB an power cable from your printer.
2. Now you can remove the left or right side plate (depending on the motor you want to replace) of your Creatr.
Use a number Philips head screwdriver To unscrew the four bolts of the side plate.
3. Loosen the top bolt of the stepper motor mounting plate with an Allen wrench.
You can now pull the motor to the front to release tension on the belt in order to lift the belt from the pulley
At the back of the motor you can pull out the electrical connector.
4. Unscrew the stepper motor with an Allan wrench and place the new one.
Don't forget to plug in the electrical connector.
5. Put the belt on the pulley again. TIP: Press it below and then roll it on.
6. Tension the belt by pressing the stepper motor to the back and at the same time tightening the top bolt
7. Check the belt tightness in relation to the other belt.
You have now finished the exchange.
It is not necessary to adjust or calibrate the angular the position of the motor.
